You play as the "detective" and the "assistant" as they investigate, question, and discuss a murder at an otherworldly bar.

I keep forgetting to leave a comment here, but i enjoyed this game! I was a little confused with the discussion but i got everything right at the end :D i love the interactions between Mr. Detective and Mr. Assistant! Looking forward for the full version!

I enjoyed this demo a lot!!
Not only was the duo incredibly funny together, but seem to be very interesting charas on their own :D
The dialog overall was written very well and I loved how it would sometimes forward itself - that added to its comedic timing very well xD Also, the way important text was given a different color was a nice detail!
Also, the worldbuilding (or at least the hints that were given in this demo) is suuuuper intriguing!! Magic, different worlds, whatever Mr. assistant is... so many interesting things :D
As for the gameplay, I really loved the Discussion time!! (even if I'm an idiot who never got the right choice first x'D I hope there'll be an easy way to replenish the TP in the full game haha) It totally fits with the mystery/detective theme of the game and really made me think about how someone could kill the victim!! I also liked the red herring that was given in the investigation. That did throw me off-guard a little bit xD
I was a bit disappointed though, that the investigation itself was mostly on one spot (aka the body)... I personally would have liked it if the player could look for more clues on the map >-< (Well, on the other hand, a bathroom stall is also pretty small x'D)
I was super surprised when the demo ended though!! Just as I was preparing myself to investigate them!!!!
So that's why I hope that this game will be completed one day! I really wanna see more of these charas and figure out who the killer is! UvU

The writing was honestly one of my biggest dev block ^^" Writing the murder case was hard, but it was harder writing the characters' chemistry ;; so I'm glad it conveyed well!
Glad you like the worldbuilding too! The playtesters were my friends that are already aware of the universe, so I was afraid it was too ambigous or confusing for new players ;;
I hope the discussion wasn't too difficult! Nobody so far has got through it without losing any TP, so don't worry! Good job for making it through XD
